The Meadows Field Caravan Park, Heacham

Why choose The Meadows Field caravan park in Heacham?

The Meadows Field is a recent addition to our collection, located next to our much-loved Meadows caravan park.

Newly developed, Meadows Field features extra-spacious plots and large holiday lodges, double the size of a standard static caravan. This gives plenty of space both inside and outside, and alongside the stunning views and big Norfolk skies, you’ll feel a real sense of openness with each stay.

In the coastal village of Heacham in West Norfolk, lodge owners at The Meadows Field can enjoy stunning sunsets over the sea – a perk enjoyed in very few places in the county.

If you’re looking for a lovely lifestyle and a sense of luxury from your new holiday home, a lodge here in Heacham might be just what you’re looking for!

What's nearby?

If you’re considering buying a lodge or caravan holiday home here at The Meadows Field, there’s plenty to enjoy out and about in the local area.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find nearby as you settle into your holiday home.

History and heritage

A lavender field

From your base at The Meadows Field, you’ll only be a short drive from Sandringham Estate, open to visitors who wish to explore some of the rooms of the historic house, the gardens and the parkland.

The nearby Norfolk Lavender farm has been in operation for almost a century, and you can enjoy guided tours to learn about the farm’s past, as well as the history of lavender within Britain.

Food and drink

Fish, chips and mushy peas on newspaper

Heacham plays host to a great range of cafés, pubs and restaurants you can try during your visits to your caravan holiday home. Picking out your favourites will be an enjoyable task, we’re sure.

We highly recommend tucking into fish and chips on the beach while watching the sunset – what a treat! Just watch out for seagulls…

If you find yourself in Snettisham, The Old Store café does a fantastic brunch, coffees and baked goods.

Natural beauty

Sunset over the sea from the foreshore

Heacham is one of the few places in Norfolk where the sun sets over sea rather than land, filling the sky with fabulous colours.

Snettisham Woods and RSPB site nearby are both worthy of getting your boots dirty, with the reserve known for skies full of Oystercatchers, Knot and Dunlin at particularly high tides when the water covers the mudflats, forcing them int the air.

Family fun

The white and orange cliffs at Hunstanton beach

Your family can enjoy time at the Heacham and Hunstanton seasides — amusements, play, cliff walks and cafés.

Inland, a visit to Sandringham offers woodland walks, gardens and gentle trails appropriate for children. There’s also a large play area beneath the trees, perfect if the little ones need to blow off some steam!
