“We have had a caravan in the Haven site in Thornham now for 22 seasons. We arrived in 2004 and have upgraded our van twice.

To say it has been the best money we have ever spent would be an understatement!

When you buy your van you are also purchasing a lifestyle that we find second to none.

We have never looked back and will never tire of our own little bit of north Norfolk.”

To the east, RSPB Titchwell Marsh lies just a short walk or drive away, with reed beds, lagoons and saltmarsh habitats linking to a quiet stretch of beach.

Thornham Beach itself is probably one of Norfolk’s most remote beaches, requiring a half-mile walk to reach it. Your reward? A wonderfully secluded, sandy beach without the crowds.

Family fun

As well as beach days and time spent watching boats or exploring the harbour flats at low tide, there’s plenty to enjoy on family days out near Thornham.

Drove Orchards – a collection of eateries and shops – also benefits from a play area designed like a traditional trawler boat, and can keep the little ones entertained while you sit back with your coffee!
