Shepherds Port Caravan Park is located minutes from Snettisham Beach and RSPB Snettisham, making it an ideal choice for families, dogs, walkers, birdwatchers and photographers alike.
Snettisham is the first village around the West Norfolk coast with holiday caravan parks. Its westerly location offers fantastic sunsets over The Wash which can be truly breathtaking.
A quiet and rural village, there are a selection of small shops and pubs in Snettisham, many based around the small market square.
Shepherds Port benefits from a much-loved clubhouse and bar too!
If you’re considering buying a caravan holiday home here in Snettisham, get excited about everything you have to look forward to locally! One of the best things about ownership is familiarising yourself with your new locality, and there’s plenty here in Snettisham and the surrounding area to keep you excited to return time and time again. Of course, you’ll soon find your own favourite places to go and things to do in West Norfolk, but here are just a few ideas.
Just a short drive from your new holiday home at Snettisham, you’ll find the Sandringham Estate. If the area’s good enough for the Royals, you know it’s wonderful around here! With the House and Gardens to discover and events throughout the year, there’s plenty to keep you returning.
A little further is Castle Rising, looked after by English Heritage. It’s one of the best preserved keeps in England, dating back to 1138. The village itself is worth a look round too.
You might love cooking in your caravan, but if you fancy eating out during your visits to Snettisham, you’ll be pleased to know there’s plenty of choice nearby.
From brunch or coffee at The Old Store (pictured) to great pub grub at The Rose & Crown and The Victoria, or award-winning fine dining at The Old Bank – there are plenty of spots to tempt you.
Plus, our on-site Shepherds Port bar is a great place to spend an evening with the other owners!
At Shepherds Port, you’re surrounded by nature.
RSPB Snettisham is just a short walk away and is famous for its spectacular bird migrations.
Snettisham Woods offers more routes to discover too, and Snettisham Beach, though in the East of England, is actually west-facing, meaning its expansive sands are a great spot for sunset.
