"We have been on the Shepherds Port site for 27 years, a well-maintained site with a variety of trees. We have thoroughly enjoyed every season. The site has a serene ambiance, peaceful, only noise usually is when machinery has to be used for maintenance purposes, otherwise sit outside, weather permitting, and enjoy the quiet, the birds, the wind in the trees, watch the clouds float by, with the birds flying high. Unwind.

The site has a small clubhouse, with really good home cooked food, and a friendly atmosphere. Tables outside for enjoying the warmth. The sound of happy chatter does not permeate far into the site.

You can keep your own company or have a natter with neighbours or passers by. Definitely dog friendly, and there are many walks directly from the park."

"Big attraction is also the surrounding area, short walk from the sea, where you can wander right along to the RSPB lakes, many bird species to spot. High tides bring you the bird numeration spectaculars, often seen on nature programmes. Stunning.

We enjoy watching the speed of the tides ebb and flow across the wash. And there are often amazing sunsets to marvel.

Overall a lovely small site if you want peace and quiet, rather than built facilities and organised entertainment."

"We bought our caravan on Shepherds Port because we fell in love with the park as soon as we saw it.

It's a lovely location with beautiful walks nearby, on the beach and the surrounding countryside.

The park is immaculately maintained, and the staff are perfectionists.

Our caravan is probably the best decision we have ever made.

It's a lifestyle changer, and it really is our happy place."

At Shepherds Port, you’re surrounded by nature.

RSPB Snettisham is just a short walk away and is famous for its spectacular bird migrations.

Snettisham Woods offers more routes to discover too, and Snettisham Beach, though in the East of England, is actually west-facing, meaning its expansive sands are a great spot for sunset.
