McDonnell Caravans was founded back in 1966 when Mr McDonnell Snr spotted the land that was to become McDonnell’s flagship sales showground. He purchased the plot and transformed it into our first sales facility, displaying the latest static holiday homes and touring caravans the 60s had to offer. Because our business was built on excellent customer service and good old-fashioned principles, our customers loved us and the business went from strength to strength.
In 1983 Mike McDonnell took the business over from his father, carrying on the family brand and continuing its success into the new millennium. The company employs 25 hugely experienced staff, all of whom are dedicated to helping you to discover the absolute freedom and choice that only a caravan holiday can offer. The McDonnell headquarters remains at the original showground in Gayton selling both static holiday homes and touring caravans, however the business has evolved over the past four decades and now owns seven beautiful holiday caravan parks along the stunning Norfolk Coast from Snettisham to Brancaster.
